YAHWEH

RGV Short Film, 6 minutes

Synopsis:

She knew Him first as a cry in the night. And she held Him last as silence in her arms.

Told through the eyes of Mary, Yahweh is a poetic reimagining of the Nativity and the crucifixion—not as distant religious moments, but as the intimate story of a mother and her son. From the wonder of His birth to the horror of His death, this short film threads together the tender humanity and divine weight of who Jesus truly was.

Visually mirrored scenes blur the lines between cradle and cross, revealing that to Mary, He was always her baby—God in flesh, yet flesh of her flesh.

Yahweh invites viewers—believers and skeptics alike—into a sacred tension: the beauty of birth, the ache of loss, and the fierce, unfailing love that held it all.
