As friends, supporters, and members of Broadway’s The Great Gatsby cast come together in song, the project raises vital awareness and funds for Team Gleason. Michael Dean Marbach is a Texas-based filmmaker and entrepreneur, and the founder of Gold Leader Films, a boutique production studio dedicated to story-driven filmmaking. His love of film began with Star Wars, inspiring a lifelong passion for storytelling and creating work centered on real people, emotion, and connection. Michael Dean began his career at a local Texas production company, contributing to projects including a national advertisement for Texas A&M and the television series Brave Books Adventures with Iggie and Mr. Kurk. Those early experiences helped shape his approach to authentic, character-focused storytelling.Through Gold Leader Films, Michael Dean specializes in interview-driven documentaries and wedding films, preserving meaningful moments and personal stories with care and intention. He also runs a YouTube channel featuring Star Wars fan edits. He lives in Texas with his wife, Cassie, and their two sons, who often make movies alongside him.
