Synopsis:

In an employment office undergoing restructuring, Hélène, the deputy director, receives an alarming e-mail from a desperate unemployed woman. The woman threatens to kill herself on the premises of the agency. With the help of her team, Hélène tries to untangle the internal dysfuncKons at the origin of the case in order to prevent the irreparable. Time is running out.


Kacper Checinski

Bio:

Born in Sweden to Polish parents in 1983, Kasper Checinski has lived and worked in France since 2007. After obtaining a master's degree in art history, he devoted himself entirely to filmmaking, making several self-produced films during the 2010s. In 2018, Checinski joined Takami productions, with whom he shot the short film With All Appropriate Humanity in 2023. A great admirer of European auteur cinema, including that of Michael Haneke, he devotes himself to portraying human weaknesses and flaws in an austere and uncluiered style.
