Statement:

"Starring my actual grandmother, Dora in her acting debut, WIDOW blends reality & fantasy both in front and behind the camera. Shot on-location in Roma, Texas along the Mexico border... in the actual forty-year-old home she raised her family in. Created a year after my grandfather’s death, we needed to make sense of my family’s pain. The goal was to give Dora a cathartic creative experience and potentially help others in similar situations. This short film is my family’s soul laid bare. My grandmother’s heart unbroken."
