Omar A. Casas Jr. is a co-founder and Media Director at Trucha, a multimedia platform that aims to uplift the stories, culture, and social movements of the Rio Grande Valley. Through creative story telling, he hopes to amplify community voices and use media as a tool to drive community change.

Laura D. Martinez (she/her) is a multimedia artist, specializing in photography, cinematography, and video production based in McAllen, Texas. She uses her five years of experience as a Video Associate with Trucha where she uses her skills in narrative or literary journalism to help capture and bring stories to life in a fun and engaging way.
