Bio:

Magaly Patricia Treviño is a writer and emerging filmmaker from the Rio Grande Valley whose work is shaped by growing up between two cultures. She is drawn to stories about identity, reinvention, and the emotional layers of everyday life.

After more than a decade of crafting audience-centered content in marketing and communications, Magaly is now exploring a more creative side of storytelling through screenwriting and filmmaking. She is currently writing her first feature film.

Magaly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Brownsville (now UTRGV) in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
