Synopsis:

Rainfeather Sullivan looks through a family photo album and narrates the story of how his great grandparents met, bounty hunter Cody Suarez and outlaw Josie Wayles, in 1903 Texas.

"Outlaw Josie Wayles" is a WESTERN ACTION COMEDY, featuring notable Texas and Tejano music artists in the cast. This pilot teaser includes the debut of NFL great David Vela and also Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" sung by Texas music artist Dalila Rexroat.

BRANDON LEE KEROPIAN

Bio:

Brandon Lee Keropian is a filmmaker, producer, director, and sound professional with more than 25 years of experience in Latino film and the Hispanic communities of Los Angeles, New York City, and San Antonio.

The son of actor and filmmaker Edward James Olmos, Brandon began his career with Olmos Productions in 1991, working around the production of American Me and documentaries including Lives in Hazard and It Ain’t Love. During these formative years, he also worked alongside Olmos' community activism, gaining an early understanding of the connection between filmmaking, culture, and social impact.

After earning a degree in Music Performance from Hunter College, Brandon co-produced The Kennedy Center Presents: The Americanos Concert with Olmos Productions and the Smithsonian Institution. The PBS special received an Imagen Award in 2000.

A member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild since 2004, Brandon has worked as a post-production audio supervisor, sound engineer, mixer, composer, director, and producer, with more than 40 film and television credits. From 2010–2018, he produced numerous independent feature films while also directing documentaries focused on Latino culture, music, and community.

His civic work has included consulting with the San Antonio Film Commission, serving on the board of the LULAC Council for the Arts, and serving on the advisory board of the Cesar E. Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation.

Brandon's current projects include 300 Miles for Stephanie, a faith-and-family feature inspired by the true story of a San Antonio police officer's extraordinary 300-mile journey for his daughter, and a new documentary exploring the history and legacy of Hollywood's legendary Gazzarri's nightclub.
