Synopsis: Operation Tin Man is a documentary short that follows Mario Ybarra, the son of fallen soldier from Weslaco, Texas who now suffers intergenerational trauma from losing his father in Vietnam.

Nicaraguan-born Tania Romero, is a writer-director and cinematographer. Her work has been selected at the 69th Cannes Film Festival Short Corner, Cine Las Americas, SXSW, WorldFest Houston, and ICARO International Film Festival among other festivals. As a visual storyteller, her work focuses on the concerns of marginalized communities and highlighting the contributions of women in our society. She is a world traveler, amateur cook, animal-lover, and multilingual artist-philosopher.
