Carmon Sabani is a fusion of film partners and lifelong friends Gabriel Carmona and Albion Sabani.

Bio:

Carmona Gemini is a self taught award winning filmmaker.With over 23 films shorts, and documentaries to his credit.A writer,actor, and director Carmona made his film debut in Robert Rodriguez’s 2012 film “Machete”.In 2013  he started his own film company “Nac Film Theory” with a goal of one short film a month.A film school in it’s own right, he finished the year with the series titled “Caballero” loosely based on his Machete character.The series gained national attention even landing Carmona a meeting with El rey network.Creative diffrences ultimately disbanded the group and Carmona  believing his creative run was over retreated to the deep woods of East Texas.Carmona then spent the next ten years working odd jobs and traveling to Mexico where he reconnected with his roots.In the years that followed Carmona continued writing and dreaming of film.A chance encounter with Albi Sabani a young actor he had cast in his earlier films led to his return.Sabani convincing Carmona that his talent was still there led to the duos first creation under the moniker Carmona Sabani. The film “Rite of Passage” marked Carmona’s first film work in over a decade, the film dealing with grief and loss was an instant hit.The film to his surprise won numerous awards all over the world.The duo then followed up with “La Pinata”, and book trailer for best selling author James Wade’s book titled ‘River sing out.”Working non stop through the year the duos talents ultimately led to another short called “skate daze” and to the crowd pleasing favorite “Lava Platos”. Lava Platos ultimately gave birth to Carmona’s biggest project to date “King of the South”. The project starring Tejano Musical icon Little Joe with music from another icon Shelley Lares is currently in production.With locations spanning through San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley  New Orleans and Atlanta The King of the South has become one of the most anticipated projects of 2025.
