Bio:

My name is A. Nik Mendez. Growing up in San Benito, I was enamored by the world's beauty. When I wasn't playing in fields of dirt or staying up to draw my favorite cartoons, I was with my grandmother at the dollar movie theater after church.

As long as I can remember, I've been consumed by the dream of the screen. My passion for filmmaking led me to build a Production company that would not only highlight the beauty of the RGV but also uplift local talent to share our community's stories.

Throughout my journey, I've felt lost in space. Fortunately, I am driven by a spirit that compels me to try new things, uplift others, and create art that evokes. Since I decided to forge my path as a filmmaker, the results continue to inspire me.

My goal of establishing a production company is in its early stages, and I look forward to participating in more competitions while taking on projects that challenge me to evolve.
