Synopsis:

A depressed, devout Hindu woman from an affluent family follows her overbearing husband to a rugged Texas cattle ranch—where an unlikely friendship with a tough cowgirl teaches her cowboy culture and the meaning of true American grit.

Bio:

Tejal Desai is an award-winning screenwriter. Tejal won the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting for his comedy Linda and Henry. Tejal has written for Disney, Focus Features and Lifetime. Tejal holds a BS in Pharmacy from University of Connecticut and a BA in Film from SUNY Purchase.
