Logline:

When a half gringa, half Mexican full-on control freak whose father left when she was young, creates an algorithm that leaves only two days to find true love, she finds that this is one equation that may require her heart, not her brain.

Pamela Oliver Munoz

Bio:

Pamela Oliver Munoz is a filmmaker, animator, photographer, and songwriter who lives to create in every way she can. She earned her B.S. in Art from UW-Madison, and her Elementary and Art Education degree from Pan American (UTRGV). She writes, directs, films, and edits all her films. Her 2021 animation "Love Has No Borders" won first place at the San Diego Migrant Voices Today film challenge in 2023, and was a finalist at Stockholm City Festival and Humboldt International Film Festivals. Blind Love won best animation at STXIFF as well as the Independent Spirit Award at The Basin Short Film Festival. Her animation, Hurdles, won Best Animation at The Basin Short Festival, and took home the Laura K. Bush Award at the Amarillo International Film Festival for Empowerment of Young Women, as well as Best Sound at STXIFF. Most recently, her screenplay, Candy & Caldo is currently a semi-finalist in The Pitch competition at STXIFF 2025. She loves combining her loves - writing, drawing, filmmaking, songwriting, photography, editing - to create stories that joyfully flow through her to the screen.
