Deisy Sanjuán
Bio:
Deisy Sanjuán is an actor currently developing her first short film as a writer, producer, and director. Raised in South Texas, she spent over a decade in Los Angeles and Chicago where she also trained in acting at The Markland Studio, Second City, and Acting Studio Chicago before returning to the Rio Grande Valley. She has performed in plays with The Pharr Community Theatre and draws on a broad range of life experiences—including 17 years working as an airline professional, luxury travel advisor, and real estate investor. A passionate humanitarian, Deisy currently serves as a Volunteer Child Advocate with The Young Center for immigrant children. She enjoys travel, and all proceeds from her success journal, Create Empower Optimize, support causes close to her heart. Outside of her creative and advocacy work, Deisy enjoys playing tennis as well as dancing Latin and ballet.
