International Short Film - Sepia

The Man is rejected from reentering his country of residency after visiting his country of origin. Due to being a former immigrant, he is prohibited from coming back to the place where he has built his life and relationships. He is separated from his wife, the Woman, with whom he is deeply in love and has decided to share his live with. Therefore, he decides to undertake a journey by foot across the desert in order to illegally reenter the country and be reunited with his love.

Vicente Almuna

Director and actor from the New York Film Academy located in Los Angeles, California and from the Universidad Catolica located in Santiago, Chile. His first film, SEPIA, has been selected in several film festivals, receiving awards for Best First-Time Director, Best Actor and Best Cinematography. Furthermore, it has been nominated for Best Short (Drama), Best Original Story and Audience Awards. At the present time, he is working on the preproduction of his second short film, HUENCHULA, to be shot in August of this year in Chile and on the script of his first feature film, SANTIAGO.
